GAR is proud to announce the return of our Summer Adventure Camps in our expansive, air conditioned sports complex. We have created unique opportunities for children to develop their athletic abilities, while teaching them life skills that will enhance the joy of sport along with self-confidence. At GAR’s Adventure Camps, friendship, fun, and learning are combined to create lasting memories. This camp is an alternative to traditional child care and is not a day care. Each week is packed with challenging activities, allowing your child to remain active and entertained all summer long. Once again, for your convenience, we would like to give you the option to choose from our ADVENTURE CAMP or SUPER ADVENTURE CAMP.
ADVENTURE CAMP
During our Adventure Camp, your child/ren will remain at GAR Monday through Friday and participate in a variety of activities including: gymnastics, tumbling, trampoline, games, crafts, Backyard Adventures, GAR’s Club XRKade, pizza/ice cream parties, cookouts, and much more. Each week will be “themed” to match that week’s field trip.
SUPER ADVENTURE CAMP
During our Super Adventure Camp, your child/ren will not only participate in the same activities offered at GAR, but they will also have the opportunity to experience the most amazing and exciting field trips ever!!! Field trips are every Wednesday, starting June 16 and ending August 18. The first and last week of camp will not offer a field trip. The Super Adventure Campers will be going to Kalahari Indoor/Outdoor Water Park, Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Mt. Olympus, Medieval Times/Enchanted Castle, Field Museum of Natural History, Circus World, Noah’s Ark, Atwood Park and Magic Waters.
The following is a breakdown of the general information for all day camps. However, some details will vary due to field trips, daily camp activities and special guests we may have each week.
Eligibility:
Adventurers: Boys and Girls That Stay In GAR The Entire Camp Time - Ages 4 and Up and must be potty trained
Super Adventurers: Boys and Girls That Go On Field Trips—Ages 7 and Up
Daily Camp Schedule:
Regular Camp Hours: Monday—Friday 8:30 am—4:30 pm
Pre Camp Hours** Monday—Friday 7:00 am—8:30 am
Post Camp Hours** Monday—Friday 4:30 pm—6:00 pm
** There is no additional charge for Pre and Post Camps.
Registration:
Hurry, spots are limited! We can only accept 30 children for our Adventure Camp and 50 children for our Super Adventure camp. You may register at our website: www.onefungym.com, in person at GAR, or call us at 815-654-3867. Cash, check and credit card are accepted. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit per child for each week of camp is due at the time of registration to secure your camp week. Single Day Campers must pay in full for the respective day you wish to attend. (Please note: Single Day Camp is subject to availability.)

*A 10% discount will be given to families for each additional child in the same family and/or additional weeks.
