The GAR Little Stars Program is considered one of the most progressive and innovative programs available today for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten children. Our program is designed to help each child's individual physical awareness, strength, balance and coordination. The program is a preparation for school achievement. It will help your child learn "how to learn." Your child will do better in the classroom with self confidence he/she has gained through learning how to analyze. Our instructors are highly trained, imaginative professionals who are actively involved in the growing world of gymnastic education for all ages. These facilities and lesson formats are considered one of the best in the U.S.A. This is a success orientated program designed to help children feel good about themselves.
All grown up? If you are ready to try classes on your own, you will find great opportunities in out Little Stars Gym. We have Preschool Classes for our brand new gymnasts, Kindergarten Classes for our older acrobats and Hot Shot classes for our…well, HOT SHOTS!
Hot Shots and Rising Stars (4-7 years. By invitation only)
Junior Jumpers (4-6 years. Open enrollment)
The Hot Shots and, Rising Stars and Junior Jumper Programs are designed for children to enhance their gymnastic, tumbling, and trampoline abilities and open them up to the different options within our gym. Classes are all held in the main gym. The classes are a great way to experience all the equipment of the main gym, with the great small classes of the Little Star Program. Hot Shots and Rising Star athletes will be working on the following equipment:
Girls: vault, floor, trampoline, beam, strength and flexibility
Junior Jumper Boys & Girls: tumbling and trampoline
Clothing For Students: Little Stars T-shirt over a leotard or pair of shorts (no zippers, buttons or snaps). Please be sure to wear your T--shirt every week with white socks. NO TIGHTS. Long hair must be pulled back (no marble balls in pony tail holders).
Clothing For Parents: Wear something comfortable (shorts or pants). Heavy cotton socks are the best (nylons are too slippery). If you choose to wear shoes, they should be tennis shoes or soft crepes. No heels, clogs or boots. NO BARE FEET.
